The philosophical contexts which have created or sustained these theological essays are neglected. Fragmentation further proliferates when different sub-fields of theology, set on their own agendas, indiscriminately employ philosophical projects that proceed from disparate starting points and arrive at dissimilar ends.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner row_type=”row” use_as_box=”use_row_as_box” type=”grid” text_align=”left” background_color=”rgba(255,255,255,0.4)” css_animation=””][vc_column_inner][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner row_type=”row” use_as_box=”use_row_as_box” type=”grid” text_align=”left” background_color=”rgba(255,255,255,0.4)” css_animation=”element_from_fade”][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]Philosophical and theological studies are not hurdles<\/strong> to be negotiated before ordination; they are the necessary background to contemporary pastoral practice.
