Book launch for “Spiritual Direction from Dante: Ascending Mount Purgatory” and “Yearning for Paradise”
As successor volumes to Spiritual Direction from Dante: Avoiding the Inferno (TAN Books, 2019), Fr Paul Pearson has published two further commentaries on the Divine Comedy. They are subtitled Ascending Mount Purgatory and Yearning for Paradise.
On Saturday, April 25, the Oratory was delighted to host a reception and book-signing dedicated to the publication of the two new volumes. Br Jeffrey Sullivan assisted Fr Paul by reading selected passages from Purgatorio and Paradiso, which were woven together by Fr Paul with his commentaries. All three volumes of Spiritual Direction from Dante, as well as the Divine Comedy itself, are available at the Oratory bookstall.
